Macrocarpa 'Mill Slab' Firewood - 6m3

Availability depends on how much we're sawing at the time so there can sometimes be a wait on the Mill Slab. Feel free to ask us to find out what our stock levels are like at the time (even if the product is showing as out of stock).

Note that this wood isn't dry and will need 8-12 weeks or so to be ready to burn.

Macrocarpa burns hotter and for longer than pine. It's a great all round species.

Mac firewood will spark and is not suitable for open fires. 

This firewood isn’t split so doesn’t look like traditional firewood. It has some straight sides. Because of the rectangular shape of many of the pieces it stacks into your shed and firebox beautifully and burns really well. It also fits into the truck with less gaps giving you more wood per cube than the traditionally split style. While the length is uniform, the size of the pieces depends on what size of timber we were sawing at time. Some bits can therefore be small, others big!
