Macrocarpa Kitset Gardens - Dressed, Framing Grade. Photos to come!

These are our deluxe Macrocarpa Kitset Gardens. They are framing grade Macrocarpa which won't include any bark, bugs or rot. Nor any knots that are bigger than a third of the cross section of the timber. The timber is also dressed which gives a smooth, rounded finish. Macrocarpa is naturally durable so doesn't need treatment to last like Pine does. This makes it safe to use for vegetable gardens.

NOTE - the garden in the picture is landscape grade. More photos to come!

Our Kitset Gardens include timber that is sawn to size, screws, a driver bit and instructions. A cordless drill or similar is required. We'll leave the soil and plants to you!

For deliveries outside the Wairarapa region, feel free to contact us so we can quote freight because some orders (depending on size and destination) can be freighted to you for less than our delivery rates loaded into the website. 

IMPORTANT: Our garden sizes are listed as the length of the timber x height of the garden. The finished size will vary by 100mm because of the way it's constructed. For example, the outside dimensions of a 1.2m x 1.8m x 0.45m garden would end up being 1.2m wide, 1.9m long and 0.45m high OR 1.3m wide, 1.8m long and 0.45m high. 

The standard height options are 0.45m or 0.6m. The gardens are constructed from sleepers that are 50mm wide and either 150mm or 200mm thick (depending on the overall height - the 0.45m high gardens have three 150mm sleepers on each side while the 06m high gardens have three 200mm sleepers on each side).

Please note: the display garden picture is in landscape grade and has a base on it that allows us to transport it but our Kitset Gardens do not come with a base. They would sit directly on the ground (or wherever you choose). More photos to come of the Framing Grade version!
