Conversion Guide – Inches to Millimetres and Cord to Cubic Metres

1. Timber

Our website lists timber in millimetres (mm) for width/height and metres (m) for length. Here is a conversion table which explains how this corresponds to inches. 

1 inch = 25 millimetres (mm)

So a 4x2 is 100x50, an 8x2 is 200x50 and so on.

2. Firewood

Our firewood truck can hold a volume of six cubic metres (6m3).

1 cord = 3.625 cubic metres

Therefore, our 6m3 truck can hold 1.65 cord of firewood.
